Yes, then it could be your computer. Go to your Control Panel -> System -> Device Manager -> Ports (COM & LPT) -> ECP Printer Port (LPT1) And click on properties. If the printer port isn't ECP, that might be the problem. Anyway, if it is ECP, go to the Resources tab, which'll give you a memory range. The current parallel port that you are using (LPT1,2,3, whatever) should be the same one as is set in the PC-Linker program. My input/output range is 0378-037A, so I would set that in the PC-Linker program as well (LPT1).
