Disk Dual

Just bought a Disk Dual, should receive it soon. Just a couple of questions to anyone who owns one:

1. How fast does it load ROMs compared to the floppy drive (hard drive wise)?

2. Does it use just a standard parallel cable?

3. Does it use the standard FAT16 file system that DOS/Windows 95 uses? If so, what has to be done for my computer to recognize it when it's plugged into the parallel port?
