This message was posted by Mark, posted on March 23, 2001 at 22:09:39 coming from 213.122.32 Mood of this message: RGB is the best possible signal after component (not composite!!!) - I can tell you this because my DVD is connected using a 21pin RGB enabled scart cable, I own a Pioneer 626d, it has the option of transmiting either composite, s-video or RGB signals, RGB is clearly the winner. The one thing you guys are missing is that a SNES does not output RGB signals (not unless you hack it) so when you are using a scart cable you are actually using composite (as in the worst AV connection going). Now my dreamcast is another matter, this can output RGB and it looks superb, but a word of warning, when you do buy a scart cable for it make sure it is an RGB cable, because SCART CABLES CAN BE CONFIGURED FOR COMPOSITE, S-VIDEO, RGB OR ALL (21pin)
