I can say with certainty that AV is better than composite and S-video is better than AV. It would make sense that RGB is a better picture, but I've never used or seen it.
There is a huge difference beween using an S-video cable and using the AV jacks on my Playstaion and Dreamcast. It really sharpens up the picture. I did find that using an S-video cable with my SNES sharpens the picture, but it makes the graphics "blocky". Probably due to system limitations. The S-video just shows how jagged those graphics really are.

> Your mixing up SVHS and S-Video there, I think. SVHS records Videos in a higher resolution (twice as high) than normal VHS video recorders, so the picture looks better... but the cable doesn't affect this (well... picture quality put aside :) ).
