I use S-video cables for my Playstation, Dreamcast and SNES. The info I got about S-video being better than RGB came off the net. I have never used an RGB connection.

I can say with certainty that AV is better than composite and S-video is better than AV. It would make sense that RGB is a better picture, but I've never used or seen it.

There is a huge difference beween using an S-video cable and using the AV jacks on my Playstaion and Dreamcast. It really sharpens up the picture. I did find that using an S-video cable with my SNES sharpens the picture, but it makes the graphics "blocky". Probably due to system limitations. The S-video just shows how jagged those graphics really are.
