As far as i know AV is were the video and audio are sererate.

Compersite or RF is were they are all combined just like what your tv recives form the areal.

And RGB is as you know.

There is a bit difrance between AV and RGB.

Depending on how your RGB monitor is set up you will have to add resistors. about 150 ohm 1/4 watt.
I have built 2 RGB monitors for my Sega Mega drive and Sega Master system.

My web page is below. I didn`t have to add resistors on the R G B lines because the moitor i was useing had them built in. The colours should be realy over bright. Like red is realy a bright red ect...

Then you need to add the resistors.
