I don't know about the smart bros but I would select a MGH instead of a DPF if I were you. I own both MGH (16M) and DPF (32M) and I find the MGH much more reliable.

DPF hardware looks somehow flicky, sometimes games won't run even though the dump is perfectly valid. It's not specific to the my DPF, a friend of mine has one and has similar issues. The weird part is that the ganes that don't run on my DPF run on his unit and vice versa.
I never had any issues with my MGH, all of my games run perfectly.

Both MGH and DPF work on SNES and Genesis, but if you already have a SWC you only have to care about the Genesis side. for 90% of genesis games, 16M is enough. 32M makes sense if you also want to use your unit for SNES.
