I thought about that, and I formatted my disk using my DPF, but it didn't change anything; my games still crash.

To give you one specific example :
I dumped my Castelvania cart with my DPF but the game crashes once I try to run it from the disk.

By the way, the crash occurs like this :
Once my DPF has loaded the game, the screen turns black, (as it always do), then after a few second the SEGA logo should appear (for working games), but the screen turns RED instead.

> I have a Double Pro Fighter with 32M and have had no problems since I found out about the formatting problem. The device is not particular of what game it plays but is about what floppy drive formatted the disk it was on. I use an old 486 to format my disks because my new LS120 just doesnt do the job correctly. When I formatted 2 disks (one in the old 486 windows 3.1 and 1 in the LS120 Win 98 2nd Ed) and then copied the same game over to both, the one done with the old machine worked fine , as where the other one had problems and then crashed. I found out about the pickiness of disk drive formating from my early days with the Atari ST. Those games suffer from the same problem. Something slightly different in the formatting proccess.
