I second that. I tried without success to melt the BIC and it didn't work. I ended up getting the game bit. I have been able to open cartridges with a pair of fine tip high quality needle nose pliers and this will even work for two of the six screws on the bottom of the SNES but the other 4 are sunk so low you can't reach them with the needle nose.
