not really. the DVD laser diode is shot, no chance to repair that. if you have a neo modchip in it, make sure it has a capacitor installed, or it will kill the dvd laser on a replacement within weeks too.
you'll have to replace the entire laser unit. replacements can be bought at lik-sang, for example.
