Ok, here's what was wrong with it: It had 2 32mb ram chips in it but the ram in slot one wasn't working so i took it out and replaced it with the one in the upgrade slot, which stopped the errors on the self test.
Now i can load games on to ram from a cartridge and play them.
But the floppy drive still gives me the RDST error. I think ill try getting a new power supply before anything else.
