I'm using Samsung 4Mbit Low Low Power(thats redundant but thats what Samsung calls it) 55NS in a dip package SRAM (K6T4008C1C-DB55). They cost me a little under $7 each and $20 for S&H. Then with tax the total was about $80 from Arrow.
Just a question why are you making an 8255 interface card? I myself just plan to use the parallel port(another thing is my motherboard doesn't even have an ISA bus on it).
My DS1321 memory controllers came in so currently I'm wiring the SRAM and the DS1321's on my breadboard while waiting for the logic chips(which hopefully will arrive on monday).
