had a closer look and scratched part of a sticker off..

it uses 27c4001, a common 4 mbit eprom type, has slots for up to 32 mbit, a battery, a socketed CIC, a socket for a sram chip (28 pin) and a dip block of 8 switches.
I'm actually tempted now to make it a Seiken Densetsu 3 english cart, if I can figure out the dips.
