I also have trouble with DSP games... =[ I use Mario Kart as pass-through kart but the cart itself doesn't run properly through the SWC, even if I dump it first. Ballz does work though. Haven't tried others, because they may glitch because they're NTSC.

You can; the PAL/NTSC thing with 50 vs 60 Hz is a entirely different thing than the lockout chip. See http://www.gamesx.com
