I was thinking this too. However, visual inspection seems to indicate it is okay. I'll probably get another cable anyway.

Yes, both of them are discolored.
Okay, new question: does anyone out there have a _discolored_ SNES1 working with S-Video? :-)

Nobody needs to be a professional, looking at it from another point of view is frequently all that's needed...
