My sodering skills are low I was able to soder the S3 connector and repair a damaged power connector but thats it. What is that little grey chip between the 2 dram chips?

There is this little grey object sodered on between the 2 chips and there is another spot for that grey looking thing and of course a 2 spots for the extra ram.
