It's the same picture quality as a PSF2. There is some interferance with an RF modulator. I've found that if I connect it up with the S-VHS cable the picture is clean. I don't know if PAL units support S-VHS.

You can put a hard disk in a DiskDual, connect the DiskDual to the DX2 and not use any PC.
