The only problem I ever had with my Super Wild Card DX2 was a faulty floppy disk drive due to obvious overuse. It was simple to replace. The unit itself works great. The majority of the problems I've seen on this board are problems that have nothing to do with the actual unit itself (bad ROM headers, damaged SNES, etc). I've only seen a couple of actual 'problems' related to the unit itself. And that's to be expected with any mass produced electrical device.
My Pioneer DVD player didn't work when I first bought it. However, I still consider Pioneer to be a reliable company.
