Do 32Mb units have a separate dram board like 64Mb units? If so you may be able to make it work by replacing dram chips and changing jumpers. If not it's unlikely you'll make it happen because the board has a PAL (or GAL or some programmable logic chip) on it. You'd have to remove one from a 64Mb unit, read the PAL's program and program a new PAL for your new board. That's if FFE didn't blow the security fuse so you couldn't read it. Care to take bets on that one? I don't see it happening.
If you are an expert at electronic rework, soldering, etc. your best bet would be to attempt to procure a 64Mb dram daughter board from FFE and install it yourself. You have to solder one tricky wire from the board to the main FFE IC. If you get the board I can direct you.
