It's probably possible, but unless you know how to work with electronics and chips it probably isn't worth it. Plus the fact you need SRAM for SD3 adds complexity. Personally I just play SD3 on my DX2 with no problems, plus I can play other games as well.

SD3 is definitely worth playing on the real hardware, emulators are no comparison.
