What does the genesis adapter put out in the way of power?

If you've got an SF7 with a US CIC (lockout) chip it's not going to work in a PAL SNES. You have a couple of options, either:

1) use it with an SFC or US SNES

or

2) Replace the CIC chip in the SF7 with a PAL version. You can pull (unsolder) this out of a cheap PAL cart and install it into the SF7 at location U3.

or

3) Configure the SF7 so that it always uses the CIC in the cart slot.

If you've got a PAL SNES I would recommend option 2.
