Dead Doctor V64

Have a doctor V64 when u power it up the orange light comes on the CD Rom but nothing else , no display or anything. Do these machines have a common fault. Does anyone have a cheap one for sale in the UK. Machine only needed, have RAM and PSU etc. Another faulty one would be considered.
