Are the Wizardry ROMs GBC? I have had a few problems with a couple of the modern GBC games that have the 4-byte code at the end of their names (inside the ROM), such as the new Zelda games. They just wouldn't start after uploading them using the PC-Linker.

I used a hex editor to change the 4 bytes of the code to zeros (#$00), and they ran properly after that. Perhaps this is the problem with your Wizardry games?
