I was in the Snes scene, so I know there is no such patch, but...

Well... I was in the SNES pirate scene from 1992 up to the end, and I had each and every file that was going around the BBS's. There was a patch by Popcorn of Nightfall Italy which stripped Tales of Phantasia down to 32mbits, but it ONLY ACTIVATED A MUSIC TEST...
I Hope this clears the confusion... Sam... The game is unplayable in 32mbits, all you can do is listening to the music (which was nice anyway back then)
