Yes. As I said though, I strongly recommend you buy a SCART plug to SCART socket cable (most electrical stores should sell these) and install the capacitors in that, rather than modifying your original Nintendo cable.
If you have a problem, you can additionally disconnect pin 8.


By the way: I want to obtain a French SNES SCART cable which is made by Nintendo. If you have a spare or are able to get one, please contact me!
