I have the exact SNES model as you have. The UFO Bios is 8.8c I believe. I have a NHL 95 cart plugged in the UFO (You need to have a PAL cart in the UFO if you have a PAL SNES, but you knew that already).
The only difference is that I use a 9V, 1 Amp and not a 10V. I have a Megadrive 10V adaptor also. But I haven't used it for the UFO.
