Writing to HU Cards?

If I were to make a backup unit for HU cards (using an Atmel chipset smartcard programmer), do you think I could write to HU cards for the TG16?

In other words, are they read-only or could I reprogram them? I'd like to backup my crappy games on HU card, and then write some of the better ones onto them so that I can play them on my TG16! Thanks!

No, they are ROM-only. You'd have to build a cartridge with an EPROM, EEPROM, or FlashROM chip on it in place of the mask ROM. Chris 23:00:05 07/11/01 (4) responses
