not a lot to choose between them if you're using them for dev purposes. The v64 has a built-in parallel port whereas the CD64 needs an add-on adaptor (although it has a built-in "comm" port). Software support for the v64 is a lot better too, which may be an issue if you're developing under NT/2k/XP as transfer tools for the CD64 are pretty non-existent for those O/S platforms.
