I can, that's why I didn't bother with upgrading the SMD's RAM :)

Both.

You'll need two for the 16 MBit board and one for the 24 MBit board. They're all labeled with "HD74HC138P" (except one on the 32 MBit board, it is labeled with "HD74HC138N", no idea what the difference is, you should better ask an electronics engineer about it).
