OK, I'll try one last time. It's because IT'S NOT A GAME ROM! IT DOESN'T HAVE A GAME CHECKSUM!!! THEREFORE IT FAILS THE GAME CHECKSUM! BUT REMEMBER -- IT'S NOT A GAME -- IT'S A BIOS, SO IT'S OK!!!

Now if you ask why the GoodSNES version of the DX2 BIOS ROM shows a good checksum and has a valid game header I can tell you that too. It's because some yahoo went in and put a header in it (and overwrote some potentially important data to do it, so never try to run this on your DX2) and forced the checksum to be good. In other words they hacked it but in the process they corrupted the ROM.
