Take a rom of kirby's dream course. Open it in a hex editor and goto 81D8. If you see the text "Kirby's Dream Course" right above the location, you're in the right spot (the rom has a header.) If not add a header to the rom. Change the value from 03 to 04 (used to say 64kb, now says 128kb.) Open the rom in zsnes, and you will get the copy protection screen. Now zsnes apparently uses the rom header (not the one at the beginning) to set the save ram size. And just like in a copier, the rom will detect that the save ram is too big and refuse to play.
Now on a different note, if you change it to 02 (32kb) or less, you won't get the copy screen :)
