It seems to work properly, the on screen display is there and all..
OK here's the deal, I've got a PAL SNES and a PAL Mega Drive.
I tried this: back up Sonic cartridge to a diskette - worked.
Run Sonic from the diskette - worked.
Run Sonic from the MGH RAM - worked.
I tried to back up Super Mario World cartridge to a diskette - worked.
I tried running Mario from diskette - worked. The save did also work.
But... when I try to copy a ROM from my computer to a diskette and run on the MGH, it does not work.
I read some older questions about these things on this forum, and followed the advice - get Ucon. Yeah I've got UCON, and UCON says my own backuped rom-files are Multi Game Doctor II format.
So I thought that I just had to take a ROM (Fantasia - 4 mbits) and convert it from Super Magic Drive format to Multi game Doctor .. which changed the file name from fantasia.smd to MDfantasia.008, which seems correct, because when I back up sonic it's called MDxxxx.0xx.
So, I copied the file to a diskette and tried running it in the Multi Game Hunter, but it didn't work.
I inserted the disk, and pressed "run from disk" or whatever, and the MGH seems to load from the disk, but when it's done, nothing happens.
The same thing happens with SNES roms, the MGH loads it, and tries to start run it, but then it gets all black. nothing happens.
I got a really bad feeling, that perhaps I tried using NTSC roms, and that they wouldn't work with my PAL SNES and Mega Drive??? But before I bought the Multi Game Hunter, the seller assured me that the MGH can run both PAL and NTSC or Japan or whatever games on my machine.
Hmmmm what do you think???
If this is the case, can I somehow convert the damn rom files into PAL format some way?
Please help.
