Well, try switching it to English. Anyway, I have a UFO 7, and to use realtime save, you have to first press "select" to put it into HYPER mode. Then, while you're playing a game (in DRAM), You press L+R button + Start to save, and L+R+Select to restore. Or vice-versa.

Also, if you press L at the UFO menu, it should give you a summary of button commands during Hyper mode.
