Super UFO problems

I just got my Super UFO form Lik-Sang today, but Im having a problem. Everytime I try to insert a floppy into the drive, the lcd doesnt light up and the drive just keeps clicking, like its trying to access the disk but it cant. I'm thinking its a power supply issue, but I am nto sure. What type of power supply should it be given?
