Dumper: Another header question

Thanks for all your advice with editing the headers. Another quick question: Do split files need to have the same SRAM info? I mean, when I split a rom, the *.1 file has the bits for SRAM, mode, and "look for next file" set, but looking at *.2, it only has the "look for next file" bit set and nothing about SRAM info. Is that okay, or do I need to edit each individual file?
