Hmmm...
I tested my SNES USA mouse in my PAL SNES and I think it worked with Mario Paint... but I used it when I was testing the 50/60 Hz switch. At first it only moved, but after the button worked too and I could paint even.
And of course, I played Mario Paint from the SWCDX2...
