Tommmmy, how's your work going on the Dr PC Jr? Any way u can get it to play games of unsupported mappers if you have a cartridge in the slot with the same unsupported mapper (kinda like a dummy cart)?

How's your Dr PC Jr projects going? U know there are alot of us users out there that would love to be able to play and save SRAM games (like Crystalis, which I got working flawlessly).

Is it possible to be able to use NES carts as dummy carts for unsupported mappers? Kinda like how u need a DSP game cart plugged into a SNES copier to play DSP chip games.

P.S. the PC Jr's controllers suck...how about using NES controlls on it?

• Unfortunately, this is not possible. I have found in my studies of the unit that once the PC Jr loads a ROM, or once it jumps to the cartridge, there's no going back. A ROM on disk can't access the cartridge, and a cartridge can't access the PC Jr BIOS anymore. Once the BIOS switches to a game, it's a trap door. (nt) Chris 17:01:35 05/18/01 (0) responses
