European NES ROMs

Were there any european NES ROMs which were never released in the States? Like Terranigma for the SNES?Not counting change names such as Probotecor/Contra, Shadow of the Ninja / Blue Shadow.

Just wondering, cuz it seems unnecessary to keep my European NES ROMs folder...
