i tried parallel port but it doesn't work with my cable (although it works for my GBX)
yesi load games from floppies, but even when i backup my own cart into the wildcard it still locks up, itried repairing header and fix slowrom/pal/ntsc.
i'll try the power supply then
all my rom are good and recognized by goodsnes..
> I would recommend that you first try using an external power supply. Are you loading your games from floppy? The floppy really taxes the SNESes power supply. Get a 9VDC 1A center negative power supply. You could try loading from the parallel port I suppose.
> If it still doesn't work there must be a problem with it. Since you just got it, it's probably under warranty so send it back for repair.
> Once the unit is reliable I've found that most problems with games not working when you have a good ROM image are traceable to a bad SMC header. Fix the header and the games will usually work.
