Out of all of you copier people, there's not a single person that can answer my question? I've stumped you all, have I?

So, as far as I'm concerned, you can NOT play FF5 and 6 in memory mode. There's no hacks out there to let games that don't play in mem mode (SWC 2.8) to play on this unit? Did the previous owner mess with something he shouldn't have, and that's why the games go black on me at key points?
