I have a Professor SF II (= Game Doctor SF 7). It probably uses the same adapter. Anyway, if the adapter just connects all pins straight through (probably does, I don't remember for sure), and you cannot get hold of an original, try this:
Get hold of a SNES/SFC extension adapter. That is, a simple extension to the cart slot which allows US games to be played on a Japanese console and vice versa. You would open that up, and either remove the female connector (if the PCB is exactly the right height) or cut the PCB down to size. Scrape off any solder resist to make a new mal connector, and cut the adapter casing down to size.
A SNES/SFC adapter should be easier to find than a real GS SF3/7 adapter. They are probably listed on eBay from time to time.
