Who here uses a Wild Card unit WITHOUT an additional power cable for it?

The SWC doesn't feed off the SNES's power, so you will need to buy an additional adapter for the SWC

I've read in faqs and so on that the Super Wild Card 2.8 DOES feed off the SNES's power, and in some cases you will have to get an adapter, but not all. I guess some SNESs are weaker than others. I read a faq where the cure for certain things (driver noises and loading screen glitching) was to use a power adapter since the snes in this case wasn't strong enough.

Anyone here use a Wild Card unit and don't need a power cord?
