> > For the profighetr q+, you need a special plug-in cart that fits in the snes port on the profighter, you then fit this with a standard parallel port cable, and then use programs such as vgs, snestool, to send them to your system, the power module on the profighetr is very very dodgy, it might have required you to just move it about a a bit, you'll hear a clunck-click when it's been properly connected, mine does it more often than not....DON'T remove the floppy and mess around...it's usually some minor problem that'll mess it up. As for the plug in, I have one, but no means of getting the diagrams to everyone, I'm going to take some photos, of hopefully all the system insides..and the plug in cart, scan them in and hopefully get them up on this board sometime..hopefully in a week or so
> Mine had the same prob, and I also thought it was the drive. However, (thanks to DarkForce's suggestion) it was just the power source. I went and bought a Sega Genesis power adapter and now it works fine!
I also had the same problem a couple months ago, but like an idiot I decided to replace the floppy drive. It actually worked fine for a few minutes, but then the whole machine stopped working, so don't mess around with the PFQ floppy drive.
