I use the .MD format as well as the .SMD format which both work for Genesis games as for the Super NES I have not used on that machine yet so I couldnt help you there. .BIN files dont work for the Genesis and .MD gives no problems but .SMD does sometimes. If you dump a Genesis cart to disk it doesnt give the image a format but am sure its one of the two.
