You need a minimum of two (or you need to hack up a DSP game cart with a switch) because the DSP-1 chip games I've looked at so far (Pilotwings, Mario Kart) use a different address line to select the DSP. You can see a reference to this in DiskDude's SNES Kart doc.

That would explain how this PilotWings patch I have works. It must change the address line. In case anyone doesn't know about this, there's a patch out for PilotWings. You can play it on your SWCDX2 using your Super Mario Kart cartridge as a DSP plug-in. It works really well. If anyone wants it, email me.
