Yes the 50/60 Hz is a mod, so get your soldering iron ready. Ask someone who has experience if you don't know how to solder.

About those PAL cartridges, just buy a universal convertor, or you could do it the hard way: removing the plastic blocks and disabling the lockout chip (details also on that site).
