Wildard DX2 PAL/NTSC-question

I just received my wildcard DX2 but got the PAL version instead of NTSC. I wanted the NTSC-version so I could play the games in 60Hz and without borders.

My question is, since I have a PAL SNES as well, I'm thinking of installing a 50/60Hz switch and disable the "chip protection" and just continue to use the PAL SNES. Will the PAL Wildcard work with my PAL SNES in 60Hz? Do you see any other problems with this? I need to be sure since I can just return it and get the correct version instead.

Any help would be appreciated.
