> I have a Smart Bros 32mb dual SNES/Genesis copier. In the Load Data section of the unit, there are selections for loading from Computer, and from CD-ROM drive. IF I try to load from those 2 it says "Interface Not Found". This is obvious because the Smart Bros does not have a built in Parralel Port. I was told that some versions of the Smart Brothers DO have built in Parralel Port. I was also told that you can add a parralel port to a Smart Bros unit. How do I do this? Are there any schematics or pics availible to help me do this? Thanx

Indeed, the parallel port interface is cartridge that fits in the SFC slot of the Smart Bros and Pro Fighter-models. It would be trivial to make your own interface. The interface is made from two common ICs. One is a simple 74LSxx component and the other is a PAL chip. This implies that you would need to program a PAL component as well.

I have a CCL parallel interface cart, but it doesn't work anymore. If someone could dump the PAL code I could probably fix it. The PAL is probably fuse-readprotected, but I have never actually checked. I can get you the exact partnumbers if you want though. If you manage to get a dump of the PAL code please send me an email. Hope this helps.
