Well, I asked FFE this question, but their response was confusing...

I want to buy a SWCDX264m right? What can I do with a diskdual that I can't do with a computer?

What interface does the the diskdual use to connect to the SWCDX2? If it is IDE, then could I rig up a hard disk and cdrom with a computer power supply, and just hook the IDE cable to my SWCDX2? Also, how does the SWCDX2 connect to the computer? Parallel port?

I'm just wondering because the diskdual seems expensive if it is just a holder for cdrom and HD. It seems that it would be easier to build one rather than order one from the other side of the world.

Also, does the swcdx2 work with the standard american super nes?

thanks
