it's sort of like an external modchip for the saturn, you must still swap with it, but all the swaps are done when the drive has stoped so there is no way to wear out the cd drive from swapping. Oh yeah and you don't need timing to swap with it either, it tells you when to remove and stick in the original or copy wether you do it within a second or 3 hours. I've gotten it to work on American and Japaneese Saturns, but can't get it to work on PAL.
