In the past, the Gamestation has been plagued with problems. This message board used to be flooded with complaints and stories about it. We haven't seen any recently so people probably wised up and bought a different unit. I wouldn't touch the thing with a 10 foot pole. If you want ease of use and reliability, go with the Super Wild Card DX2. It is so amazingly easy to use, and unlike the Gamestation you won't have to convert your ROMs into a different format.

The Gamestation is technically 'not' a backup unit. It doesn't even have a cartridge slot to play your own cartridges in. And it's not even a SNES...how do you know it's going to play your games with 100% compatibility?
